Jason Dowdeswell forged roots as a digital artist at award-winning studios such as Boss Films, Industrial Light & Magic, and Sony Imageworks. In Vancouver, he has helped cultivate the growth of major industry players including Deluxe Entertainment, Image Engine, Digital Domain & Imageworks. As VP of Production Operations at Sony, Jason spearheaded the 1,000-person headquarter relocation from California to British Columbia. Utilizing his experience over the last 30 years, Jason seeks creative and technological innovation at Darkhorse10, pursuing the creation of original content while upholding the highest of industry standards.
Paul Furminger is a visual storyteller. From VFX Supervision to motion capture and live action Direction, Paul finds the subtext in the script or the objectives in the brief and delivers them to the audience in every frame he produces. For more than a decade, Paul has directed and supervised award-winning content for Video Game clients around the world. Having led productions at studios such as Goldtooth Creative based out of Vancouver and the first cinematics division for Deluxe Entertainment in 2008, he pushes the envelope on what the digital camera reveals for compelling story and entertainment. Tara Conley is a seasoned Senior Visual Effects Producer. She began her career at Rainmaker Visual Effects as a VFX Coordinator, and in 2007 made the leap to Visual Effects Producer at Zoic Studio’s. In 2009, Tara joined Rodeo FX in Montreal, and for seven years was an integral part of the studio’s growth from a small boutique operation to a world-class facility. In 2016, Vancouver lured Tara back home to long-standing studio Image Engine, where she Produced high profile projects such as “Power Rangers,” and “Thor: Ragnarok.”
Tara’s vast experience has equipped her with extensive knowledge of all facets of production. In her role as Head Of Production at DarkHorse10, Tara will oversee all projects from inception to final delivery; managing her team and our clientele with a warm, hands-on, collaborative approach.
